I first started watching and learning from your show in Oct of 07 and become addicted. And found my house was build wrong. backside of my house is a veritable Wick. I learned it was built on a cement slab not attached to the floor. Too long to explain. but This Venue has taught me to be wary of Contractors. Lien On Me Is all inspiring and far most a very important event in the vocation of Construction. When I research the right contractor for the right project. I think of MIKE! The Jack of all trades the Master of ALL. He has given us the power.

Your the best and I wish I could afford you to build my house. So the next best is to get info from you direct. Do you have books for sale on how to do everything? Could sure use some pointers. Watch the show daily.Learn so much from you. Bless your heart. Do you have how to do video's? Please let me know if and when you have the time. thanks so much, Mary

the lien on me special was awesome. Mike, you should the "order of canada" or something for all the hard work you have put into not only the homes you make right, but for your efforts to improve the general quality of work being done by other contractors and diy's, as well as your efforts to generate interest in the trades by young people. more than once your episodes have brought my wife and i to tears. Keep "making it right". we need a whole lot more people out there like you.

Dear Mike.
If I ever win the 6/49 lottery I will ask You to build this House for Me at full cost plus a half a mill for Your Kids. I just LOVE it.

Hey Mike, i watch ur show all the time i wish we had more people like u around. People that like to get the job done. The house that me and my mom and my brother are living in is not done being renavated. Still need a bit of things done here and there. Acually what i would have done was asked the next door neighbourghs if i can take down their house as well as this one cus they both have reallly unleveled floors. The floors can give out anytime. And i really don\'t think we or the neighbourghs want that. we would have had the house done but my mom ran out of money due to the people that were getting paid for doing the house that they didn\'t even finish and used the money for other things.Lol. Anyways i thought that i would tell you this to see what you would think about the problem. I\'ll keep watching your show like i always do and wait for you to check my comment out. Oh and i always watch your show on HGTV so i don\'t really have to worry about ur show going off the air cus HGTV is one of ur contributors.lol. Thanks for having a show like you have now. If you wouldn\'t have had a show like yours we meaning everyone would never think to find any prolems with the homes and be aware of the surrounds that we have to live with.

Hi Mike.

I love "Lien On Me". First saw this show when it premiered back in February. My favorite part of the house is the Dome. I wish I had that house myself. Love your show.

I would like to know if this type of home would be feasible in New Brunswick. If so, how much would it cost and where would I find more information.

It is amazing what some contractors try to pass off as quality! It looks like you had to build a whole new house due to the butcherer of homes mistakes. I thought I was alone in fixing problems from hacks! I could tell you some stories about boilers I have had to change because of some hack that screwed everything up! Bravo Mike, it is about time somebody got on television exposing the kind of shoddy craftsman that is out there. I am telling all the home owners that have ever had questions about what they should know to ask a contractor to watch your show. Keep up the great work.

I love the idea for this house, but unfortunately am not a fan of "modern" architecture.....would love to see something like this that has a little less mod and more of a cozy feel. Keep up the great work! My whole family love watching any episode of Holmes on Homes and would love to see this program, but we do live in the states! Were happy to find you on TLC.
