Canada's Most Trusted Contractor to Build Sustainable Housing Mike Holmes launches Holmes Homes
Mike Holmes, Canada's Most Trusted Contractor, is in Okotoks, AB for the presentation of the first Holmes Homes development.
At an open forum from 2:00 to 4:00 on May 27, 2008 members of the Okotoks community are invited to ‘Share Ideas with Mike' at the Foothills Centennial Center, 204 Community Way, in Okotoks, AB. “We want the community's input in the design process”, says Holmes. “And we want to let the public decide what kind of housing they'd like to have." |

| Preliminary designs of the Holmes Homes will be presented at the design charette, with more designs coming in 3 phases of prototypes. All Homes Homes are sustainable in design, and will contain ‘green' building features, including a high-performance building envelope, living roofs, grey-water recapture systems, solar assist domestic hot water pre-heat and radiant floor heating. |

Holmes Homes are being designed and developed by The Holmes Group in partnership with Oko Properties and acting design consultants Baird Sampson Neuert, an award-winning architectural firm.
“I love the Okotoks and Foothills area and hope we will be able to build the first Holmes Homes development here,” says Holmes. If all goes well, the first Holmes Homes will be offered for sale in Spring of 2009.
